Dr. Travis Johnson is a manual and mobility therapist, chiropractor, yoga teacher, and community health educator. He earned his Doctorate in Chiropractic from Northwestern Health Sciences University. Travis’s interest in wellness-care came from his fascination in human movement in graduate school and transformed into something extraordinary over the past 10 years.
Dr. Travis envisioned a wellness studio where the public could enjoy a diverse, practical, and pro-active approach to spine care and well-being which led him to create YHS.
His passion for spinal health and overall wellness comes from witnessing the effects that improper posture, poor mobility, and harmful movement patterns has on the patients he serves. He believes and promotes a philosophy of prevention and challenges his patients to be accountable for their health.
Dr. Travis studies contemporary movement, mobility, yoga, and manual therapists across the nation. He regularly teaches anatomy & mobility workshops to small businesses, weekend warriors, local-community teams, and yogis. He is active in the local fitness community and enjoys spending time outdoors, on a yoga mat, or with friends and family. He looks forward to partnering with you in your healing journey.
"If I were to prioritize self-care, mental well-ness would lead. Truly knowing oneself and the stories we tend to tell often say a lot more about the health you are in physically and spiritually." ~ Travis

Dr. Angela Draper
As a licensed acupuncturist and physician of Traditional Chinese Medicine, my mission is to provide the highest caliber of real, hands-on care combining eastern therapies with modern science customized to fit each person’s specific needs. I believe the largest part of wellness can be achieved and maintained through lifestyle and self care, with interventions to correct imbalances and promote health. My goal is to educate and guide my patients along this path. I specialize in pain management, sports medicine, women’s health and fertility. In addition, I practice internal medicine and I am able to manage an array of complaints from sinus and digestive problems to stress, anxiety and depression.
After experiencing great relief from both neck and low back injuries through acupuncture, I decided to pursue a career in acupuncture, and earned a Masters of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine (MSTOM) from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. In addition, I completed a two-year clinical internship at Pacific College in general medicine, as well as Acusport, a leading health center in orthopedic rehabilitation. I held further internships at San Diego Cancer Center and San Diego Senior’s Clinic.
Prior to establishing my acupuncture practice, I built a thriving massage practice in San Juan Capistrano, CA, where I was lucky to work with Lisa Sherwood, CNM at Beach Cities Midwifery performing massage and acupressure during labor and childbirth. In addition, I have worked with multiple professional athletes, from the NFL to the US Olympic team.
I engage in a love of travel and culture with my husband Eric, which I combine as frequently as possible with backpacking, rock climbing, surfing, yoga and a general spirit for the outdoors. We have recently acquired a small home orchard and I am learning to be a farmer. I enjoy immensely and couldn’t possibly do without my wonderful community of family and friends, for which I give constant thanks.
Suzanne began her health-care journey at a spa in Calistoga back in 1995 while attending school for nursing. During that time she started to realize a huge sector of the healthcare industry was underserved; prevenative medicine. She began studying meditation, spiritual awareness and massage therapy in 1996. Suzanne's path found her accepted into Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in 2010 for a Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine. She interned at UCSD cancer center, UCSD athletic training center and numerous local health clinics. She continues her volunteer outreach in local programs to date.
When considering her treatment strategies, Suzanne integrates contemporary and multidisciplinary approaches. She offers acupuncture, cupping, herbal medicine, postural assessment, multiple modalities of massage including deep tissue, myofascial, Shiatsu, active release and reflexology. She believes in integrative medicine; this is why she has chosen to work at Your Healthy Spine alongside other professionals with the same objective.
She has seen more than 10,000 client visits in her career and is described as a compassionate and knowledgeable practitioner by the team.
Robert has been a certified massage therapist since 2007. He attended the Center for Natural Wellness and Massage Therapy in New York. His Interest in massage therapy came after a work injury left him in pain and with limited mobility. After seeing many doctors and being told surgery would be his only option he decided to see a chiropractor along with a massage therapist who were able to relieve his pain and help him to achieve a full recovery.
He takes a clinical approach to massage and specializes in trigger point and neuromuscular therapy while mixing in techniques from other modalities. He works to relieve pain, increase mobility and give his clients the opportunity to take control over their health. Robert believes that massage can play an integral role in your overall health and wellbeing, not only for acute pain and injury but also as a preventative measure.
Tori's passion for helping people let go of their pain and suffering has been a part of her life for as long as she can remember. After Graduating from East West Healing Arts Institute in 2010 she became a certified massage therapist and body worker. This allowed her to take the first step in pouring her passion into a career. An additional step to sharing that passion was becoming a registered yoga teacher in 2015.
Her approach to massage therapy is a combination of eastern and western techniques and modalities that cater to the individual on a case by case basis. Each session is blended with techniques including; Tui Na, Swedish, Deep Tissue, Acupressure, Aromatherapy, Sports Massage, Thai Stretches, etc. The goal is to aid people in letting go of any pain residing in the body and leaving the session feeling rejuvenated.
