Dr. Travis Johnson is a manual and mobility therapist, chiropractor, yoga teacher, and community health educator.
His passion for spinal health and overall wellness comes from his experience serving as an EMT during his undergraduate studies and his fascination in human movement in graduate school. Over the past 15 years this passion transformed into something extraordinary.
Dr. Travis envisioned a wellness studio where the public could enjoy a diverse, practical, and pro-active approach to spine care and well-being which led him to create YHS Integrative Clinic.
Witnessing the effects that improper posture, poor mobility, and harmful movement patterns has on the patients he serves, he believes and promotes a philosophy of prevention and challenges his patients to be accountable for their health.
Dr. Travis studies contemporary movement, mobility, yoga, and manual therapists across the nation. He regularly teaches anatomy & mobility workshops to small businesses, weekend warriors, local-community teams, and yogis.
He is active in the local fitness community and enjoys spending time outdoors, on a yoga mat, or with friends and family. He looks forward to partnering with you in your healing journey.
Travis earned his Doctorate in Chiropractic from Northwestern Health Sciences University.
"If I were to prioritize self-care, mental well-ness would lead. Truly knowing oneself and the stories we tend to tell often say a lot more about the health you are in physically and spiritually." ~ Travis

Kim is a southern California native and is certified in both Massage Therapy and as an Iyengar Yoga Instructor. She has been massaging professionally for 11 years, and teaching yoga for 18 years.
Kim is a graduate of IPSB, International Professional School of Bodywork. She has also studied at PCOM, Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, and has attended numerous in-depth bodywork trainings.
With the help of modalities such as circulatory massage, deep tissue sculpting, neuromuscular therapy, tui na, acupressure, prenatal/perinatal, cranial sacral, manual lymph drainage, oncological sensitivity, and somatic emotional/relational training, Kim brings a well-rounded and deep tool bag to the table.
Kim began studying Yoga in 1997, and yogic practices and philosophy serve as a core foundation for all the work she does. However, after ten years of intensive study she felt the need to experience and study the healing potential of touch.
San Diego has a rich history of pioneering bodyworker teachers and she is very grateful to have been able to study with many of them. By receiving the teachings and touch of many skilled practitioners, she has come to find a deep appreciation for the efficacy and potential for change that touch invites.
Iyengar Yoga also has a rich history in San Diego and Kim has been blessed to have studied extensively with local senior level teachers for over 20 years. She has also been to India numerous times to study with the Iyengar Family. Yoga is a vast subject and the Iyengar method is the approach Kim takes with Asana and Pranayama, in particular. Kim is also a student of Vedanta, Tantra, Sanskrit.
Mostly, Kim is interested in sharing whatever she can to help soothe that which can and needs to be soothed while also encouraging change and growth in whatever ways best serve the client. I look forward to seeing you on the table, and occasionally on the mat!

Originally from East Texas, Jessica has always enjoyed being active outdoors and participating in organized sports such as basketball, softball, track and cross-country.
At age 20, she had a life changing back surgery to treat Scoliosis and only recently experienced the effectiveness of chiropractic care to treat her pain given her unique situation. This experience piqued an already growing interest in healthy movement and mobility, and lead her to YHS where she is able to assist clients and practitioners as the Studio Manager/Personal Assistant.
When she is not in the clinic at the front desk, Jessica enjoys hiking, camping, backpacking, rock climbing, going to the gym and many other activities our beautiful region has to offer.
She hopes to encourage others who have had surgery, or who are experiencing pain, to seek one or more of the methods of healing YHS has to offer and realize that they do not have to simply live with pain and limitations.
Jessica is currently CPR/AED certified and is studying for the American Council of Exercise Personal Trainer certification to improve her own fitness and build her knowledge and ability to help others live healthy lives.
Jessica attended Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas, where she received her Bachelors of Business degree and has over 15 years working in the healthcare field.
