We're trying something different in our meditation practice this month. On Monday, April 16th we invite you to sink into yoga nidra.
Not sure what it is? It's a meditative state in which the body is ultra-relaxed while still maintaining full consciousness. Think long savasana where you're laying flat on the floor for 30 minutes and your consciousness is between waking and sleeping, like the "going-to-sleep" stage. It can leave you feeling so rested afterward.
Yoga nidra will help you rest, restore, de-stress which makes it an ideal practice when you're feeling low on energy. The more you practice, it can even help increase awareness, undo bad habits, and eventually understand your true calling and higher purpose.
Whether you are a seasoned practitioner or new to yoga nidra, please join Mandy Pfaff, MFT at Your Healthy Spine on Monday evening, April 16th for this session of deep relaxation.
