Mobility care is rapidly becoming basic self-care for athletes and non-athletes alike.
From your sofa, to the kitchen table, to your workspace, more and more people are becoming concerned with the effects our sedentary lives are having on our bodies. Curled over laptops, captives to our steering wheels, pouring our attention over phones & tablets, we are now recognizing this way of comfy living is hard on our bodies.

What is mobility self-care?
When people think of mobility work; foam rollers and tennis/lacrosse balls usually pop into their head, but at YHS, it's more than that. At YHS we hold FREE mobility classes that are designed to give you the knowledge & tools to perform basic maintenance of your soft-tissue at home.
BUT what good is mobility if we don't put it to use? This class will help you experience the connection between mobility care and movement. Our aim is to prevent common injuries that occur because of current posture trends.
Our goal is to help you create a more mobile system through moving well and often.
The Class at YHS
They're interactive, exploratory, and fun. Please wear comfortable gym attire and feel free to bring your favorite wine and a friend. Did someone say wine?!
Again, the class is FREE!
Bring a foam roller and a yoga mat. If you don't have one, you can purchase one or borrow one. We will provide the rest.
Remember, this class happens every last Wednesday of the month. So if you can't make it this time, be sure you sign up for the next one.
